Elinor Mercer

Elinor M. Mercer, 75, of Georgetown, died Friday, June 27, 2003 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. She was born September 9, 1927 in Belmont Co., Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Laura Miller Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd T. Mercer, Sr. in 1995; and by 2 brothers, Virgil and Ellsworth Stewart. Surviving are her son Floyd Mercer, Jr. and his wife, Jeanette of Georgetown; 5 daughters, Patricia Ann Kochur of Harrisville, OH, Sandra Mansfield and her husband, Charles of Cadiz, Wanda Thomas of Dillonvale, Marsha K. Mansfield and her husband, Jack of Cadiz, Donna Ward and her husband, Mark of St. Clairsville; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio, where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Short Creek Cemetery, Georgetown.
