Eleanor Stewart

Eleanor A. Stewart, 94, of Cadiz, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, Ohio. She was born May 23, 1917 in East Liverpool, Ohio a daughter of the late George H. and Bertha Faulk. She was a graduate of Miami University with a B.S. degree in Education and was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She taught in the East Liverpool, Beaver Local and Cadiz school districts. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz and was the retired co-owner/operator of Cadiz Dry Cleaners. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Milton H. Stewart; 2 sisters and a brother. Surviving are two sons, Terry (Sue) Stewart of Cadiz and Sam Stewart of Massillon; three grandsons: Damon (Jerri), Devin (Erica) and Shane; and a granddaughter, Shannon; two great grandchildren: Jonas and Olivia. Friends may call Saturday, September 17 from 1:00 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, with Rev. R.J. Leek officiating. At her request her body was donated to science.
