Edward M. Coultrap, Jr., 67, Cadiz, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Oak Pointe Care Center, Baltic, Ohio. He was born June 25, 1943 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Edward M. and Margaret Galbraith Coultrap, Sr. Mr. Coultrap was a graduate of Scio High School, attended Ohio University, Kemper Military Institute in Booneville, Missouri and participated in many other educational activities. He and the Coultrap family owned and operated Coultrap Supermarket, Inc. "The World's Most Unusual Store" and Coultrap Speed Shop. He was part owner and agent of Homeland Realty, Inc. since 1980. He was owner and operator of Stockison, Inc., Ohio Motor Company, Inc. and Coultrap Management. Ed was a certified tree farmer and actively sold Christmas trees. Ed was past Executive Director of the Harrison County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Harrison County Tourism Council, Inc. He was a member of the East Warren Street Church of Christ, Harrison County Farm Bureau, Scio Lodge #587, F.&A.M., Ohio Woodland Owners Association and Ohio Christmas Tree Association. Mr. Coultrap was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by a nephew G.T. Coultrap. Mr. Coultrap is survived by his wife of 41 years, Anita Black Coultrap whom he married on August 13, 1969, a brother, George Thomas Coultrap of Cadiz, a niece, Emily and a great nephew, Tucker. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Evang. Tom Butterfield and Evang.
