Edna Naomi McDevitt, 88, Cadiz, died Monday, October 27, at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. She was born January 31, 1915 in Kenwood, Ohio a daughter of the late Wilbur and Sarah Stevens Twigg. She was a homemaker, a member of AARP, enjoyed her family and playing cards. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband, Charles W. McDevitt in 1983; a grandson, Jeff Giacobbi; 3 sisters: Mary Harriman, Inez Smith and Wilma Waller; 5 brothers: Floyd, Howard, Russell, Carl, and Tim Twigg. She is survived by 2 daughters: Mrs. Jack (Evelyn) Giacobbi and Mrs. Russell (Marilyn) Maroni all of Cadiz; a son Charles ''Tom'' McDevitt and wife Lupe of Simi Valley, California; a sister, Muriel Pecenka of Cadiz; a sister in law, Pauline Kail of Dover; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Calling hours are Wednesday, October 29, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Hooker officiating.
