Edgar Berry

Edgar Finney Berry, 91, of the Beacon House, St. Clairsville, formerly of Cadiz, died Friday, August 29 at the Beacon House. Finney was born September 19, 1911 in St. Clairsville, Ohio a son of the late Henry Edgar and Estella Finney Berry. Finney was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, Harrison Lodge #219, F. Harrison County Historical Society; and a former member of the Cadiz American Legion Post #34. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by his wife, Pauline Shearer Berry in 1977; a brother, John Webster Berry; and 2 sisters: Martha McCort and Dorothy Hess. Surviving are a son, Stephan Berry and his wife Karen N. Williams of Charleston, South Carolina; 2 sisters: Carolyn Frasier of Sandy, Oregon and Adaline West of Quaker City, Ohio. Calling hours are Tuesday, September 2, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Hudson officiating.
