Earl Swann

Earl Swann, 90, Cadiz, died Thursday, July 10, 2009, at the Harrison County Home, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born December 24, 1918 in Flushing, Ohio a son of the late Fred Andrew and Arizona Miller Swann. Earl was a member of the East Warren Street Church of Christ in Cadiz, a retired coal miner from R&F Coal Company after 32 years and a retired farmer In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Madeline Elizabeth Yoho Swann, eight brothers and sisters; a grandson, Cale Swann; and a son-in-law, Ernest Turley. Surviving are two sons: Robert Swann of Cadiz and David (Andrea) Swann of New Athens; a daughter, Donna Turley of Uniontown, Ohio; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Everett Hutson officiating.
