Dwight W. Nichols

Dwight W. Nichols, 76, of Freeport, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dwight was born March 14, 1947 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son of the late John Dee and Iris Lucille Gary Nichols

Dwight was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and was a member of the Flushing V.F.W.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his wife, Peggy Sueta Nichols; 5 brothers: John Edward, Gary, Vic, Wilson and Conrad; and a sister, Janie.

Surviving are his son, John W. Nichols of Freeport; a brother, Charles Nichols of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Cadiz American Legion. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
