Dorothy Beaird

Dorothy J. Beaird, 73, Cadiz, Ohio died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her home. She was born February 16, 1936 in Harrison County, Ohio a daughter of the late Carl Wayne and Edith M. Howell Thompson. Dorothy was a longtime waitress having worked at the former Home Restaurant, the former Phoenix Restaurant, both in Cadiz and the former Gary and Trudies in Provident. Dorothy was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband Clyde H. Beaird in 2004. Dorothy is survived by a daughter Roxie Lynn Beaird of Lake Jackson, Texas; 2 sons: Randy Lee Beaird of Tippecanoe and Ronnie Lane Beaird of Cadiz; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Thompson of Cadiz, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 26, 6-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Matilda Heavilin officiating.
