Dorothy Applegarth

Dorothy E. Applegarth, 90, Jewett, Ohio formerly of New Athens, Ohio, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. She was born April 9, 1917 in Jacksonville, Ohio a daughter of the late Clyde and Lena Faust Edwards. She was a mail carrier in New Athens area and a retired bus driver for New Athens Schools. She was a member of Royal Neighbors and Methodist by faith. She was predeced in death in addition to her parents; by her first husband David Fuller; her second husband David Applegarth; a grandson, Richard D. Mills; and a brother, Paul Edwards. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Fuller Mills and her husband Richard of Jewett; 2 granddaughters: Dottie Obert and her husband Bernie of Pataskala, Ohio and Marcia Davis and her husband Tony of Dallas, Texas; 7 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Calling hours are Saturday, May 12, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, with Rev. Al Hoder officiating.
