Donna Volan

Donna M. Krankovich Volan, 69, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born January 22, 1948 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Daniel and Martha Manbeck Krankovich. Donna was a former Deli Manager at Giant Eagle in Bridgeport and was a loving mother, grandmother, and companion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Volan, Jr.; two brothers Frank and William Krankovich; and two sisters, Linda Berard and Rose Krankovich. Surviving are three children, Edward (Connie) Volan, III of Bridgeport, Dawn (Nick) Nonack of Tiltonsville; and Brent (Kristin) Volan of Cadiz; five grandchildren, Miranda Volan, Bryden, Brooklyn and Brennan Volan, and Camden Nonack; her companion, Gene Mankey; a brother Daniel Krankovich of Parkersburg, WV, three sisters, Kay Martin, Mary Ferriera and Martha (Buck) Gatts, all of Cadiz. Friends may call Sunday, 2-4 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Terry Baker officiating.
