Donald Ryan Clark, 25, of Cadiz, Ohio, formerly of New Athens and Freeport, died Tuesday at his home. He was born December 13, 1978 at Wheeling, WV, a son of Donald and Connie Dickerson Clark of New Athens. Ryan was a 1997 graduate of Lakeland High School and the Belmont Career Center, and was a Coal Miner at the Cam-Ohio Mine at Cadiz. He was a member of the Cadiz Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Dickerson and Boyd Clark. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Jennifer Sedgmer Clark; a daughter, Graysen of the home; two sisters, Tanya Clark of New Athens and Tessa Clark of Uhrichsville; a nephew, Jayden Clark of New Athens; his maternal grandmother, Judy Dickerson of New Athens; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Clark of Cadiz; parents-in-law, Scott and Martha Sedgmer; grandparents-in-law, Paul and Lorry Sedgmer; and brother-in-law Scott and his wife, Juliana Sedgmer, all of Cadiz. Friends may call Thursday, from 3-7 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
