Dolly Rose

Dolly A. Rose, 76, Cadiz, died Sunday January 28, 2007 at her home. She was born May 27, 1930 in Harrison County, Ohio a daughter of the late Ross and Alice B. Rinehart Dosson. She was a member of Asbury Chapel United Methodist Church, a retired bookkeeper for Scio Pottery and McCombs Chevrolet, a foster grandparent at Westgate Elementary School in Cadiz and a member of the Harrison County Board of Elections. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband Raymond D. Rose on May 10, 2000, and 2 sisters: Madeline Quinn and Eleanor Shawver. She is survived by 3 sons: Dale and his wife Cathy, Donald and his wife Sandy, and Darwin and his wife Cookie Rose all of Cadiz; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Ray Rinehart of Marion, Ohio and Roy Eugene Dosson of Barnesville, Ohio; and a sister, Elizabeth Poillucci of Hopedale, Ohio. Calling hours are Wednesday, 3-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Al Hoder officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
