Debbie L. Ott, 52, of Hopedale, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born December 8, 1954 on Deersville Ridge in Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ralph and Edna Smith Abel. She was a Cook at the Harrison County Home for 27 years, was a member of the Church of Christ in Hopedale, and was an avid dart player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Ott, Sr. ''Big Daddy'' in 2004 and by a sister, Betty DeWalt. Surviving are a son, Derek Dulkoski of Carrollton; a daughter, Sharon Kmatz of St. Clairsville; two stepsons, Mike Ott, Jr. of Hilliard and Chris Ott of Cadiz; two stepdaughters, Bobbi Jo Cusick of Cadiz and Rachel Stoneburner of Ashtabula; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; five brothers, Donald Abel of Randleman, NC, Paul Abel of Coffeeville, AL, Dick Abel of Hubert, NC, Bob Abel of Carlisle, PA, and Francis Abel of Kensington, OH; two sisters, Nancy Nicodemus of Roscommon, MI and Bonnie Fife of Jewett. Friends may call Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Jewett, Ohio. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com.
