David Moore

David Craig Moore, of Gaithersburg, MD, died Thursday, November 11, 2010, befitting date for a proud WWII veteran. He was born and raised in Cadiz, Ohio, a son of the late Barclay W. and Julia H. Moore. He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie Cunningham Moore; loving father of Stephen (Susan), Brian Marty, and Matthew (Elizabeth); loving grandfather of eight; and beloved brother of Donald B. Moore of Boulder, CO. He is predeceased by his sister, Julianna Moore Pollitt, of Altoona, PA. His memorial service was held on Monday, November 15, 2010, at Rockville Presbyterian Church, Rockville, MD, and the internment will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cadiz Union Cemetery, in Cadiz, OH, next to his beloved wife and parents. Rev R.J. Leek will officiate and military honors will be performed by the Cadiz American Legion. Local arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
