Clyde E. Willis, 47, Cadiz, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 as the result of an industrial accident. He was born January 25, 1958 in Wheeling, West Virginia a son of Clarence Willis of Unionvale, Ohio and the late Carol Muldrew Willis. He was a member of Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church in Jewett; a former employee of Imco Recycling in Uhrichsville; he was a coal miner working at the Shoemaker Mine for Consolidation Coal Company; the Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop #269, Cadiz; Chapter Advisor Onandaga Lodge 36, Order of the Arrow where he was coordinating the upcoming Onandaga Pow Wow this summer in Cadiz, Ohio. He was preceded in death in addition to his mother by an infant brother. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sandor Willis; parents: Clarence and Connie Willis of Unionvale; 3 sons: Erik, Calib, and Kurtis Willis all of the home; 4 brothers: Clarence Willis of Lovington, New Mexico, Craig Willis of Perrysville, Ohio, Michael Willis of Mentor, Ohio and Jerry Sefsick of Cadiz; and 2 sisters: Kim Nameth of Mentor and Leigh Ann VanHove of Florida. Calling hours are Friday, May 13, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church, Jewett, Ohio with Rev. James Stark officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cadiz Boy Scouts, c/o Jon Kirkland, 413 Oakwoood Drive, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
