Clyde E. ''Mike'' Ledger, 76, Cadiz, died Monday, December 29, at Trinity Medcial Center, West, Steubenville. He was born July 5, 1927 in Sherrodsville, Ohio a son of the late George B. Ledger and Elizabeth Breehl Ledger. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Cadiz, a retired civil engineer, a veteran of the Navy Cee Bees and Army reserve. He was also a past member of Cadiz FOE Aerie #2162 and the Cadiz American Legion Post #34. He was preceded in death in addtion to his parents by his wife, Helen Barnhart Ledger; 5 brothers: George, Jerry, Leonard, Robert Leo and Charles Ledger; 2 sisters: Dorothy Cologie and Frances Veach; and 3 infant brothers. Surviving are 4 sons: Pat of Medina, Mike of Castle Dale, Utah, Jeff of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Jim of Ferron, Utah; 2 daughters: Mary Beth Ledger and Anne Marie Essenmacher both of Chesepeake, Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a devoted niece and nephew, Jerry and Linda Ledger of Cadiz. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 2, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Cadiz, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Vennitti officiating. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale.
