Clyde Harding

Clyde R. Harding, 70, Cadiz died Sunday May 23, 2010, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio. He was born October 13, 1939 in Perry County, Indiana, a son of the late Cecil and Savonia Corley Harding. Clyde attended the First Church of Christ in Cadiz. He was an employee of Truss and Panel and Wilgus and Company and did labor carpentry and lawn maintenance in the Cadiz area. He was a member of Cadiz Eagles Aerie #2162. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ernest Harding. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Schaeffer Harding; 3 sons: Clyde (Roxane) Harding of Hopedale, Wally (Sharon) Harding of Warren, Pennsylvania, and Larry (Billie) Harding of Cadiz; a daughter, Brenda (John) Barnhill of Grayson, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren: Mavrick, Jessica (Jason), Colt, Madlyn, Charleigh, Gabriel, Hunter and Lane; 2 sisters: Mary (Tom) Jarvis and Martha (J.C.) Rogers both of Indiana; sister-in-law, Sylvia Harding of New Mexico; and a host of family and friends. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2-4 and 6-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, 139 North Main Street, Cadiz, Ohio with Paul Giffin officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of Christ, 139 North Main Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
