Clarence C. Harrah, 93, Cadiz, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, Ohio. He was born November 9, 1909 in Green Twp., Harrison Co., Ohio, a son of the late Frederick C. and Lena Stringer Harrah. Mr. Harrah was a member of the Harrison County Farm Bureau, attended Kent State University where he played baseball and majored in accounting, former member of former Green Local School Board and the Harrison Hills City School Board, and was Presbyterian. Mr. Harrah was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by 2 brothers: Dean and John Harrah. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Holliday Harrah; 4 sons: Fred and his wife Mary Jane of Hopedale, Ohio, Robert and his wife Sharon of Carrollton, Ohio, John and his wife Cindy of Cadiz, and Joseph and his wife Suzan of Cadiz; 8 Grandchildren: Wayne, Martha, Margaret, Becky, Virginia, Matthew, Richard, and Kimberly; and a great grandson, Huston. Calling hours are Friday, October 3, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. William Hudson officiating.
