Charles A. Sproull, 87, of Cadiz died Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Trinity West in Steubenville, Ohio. He was born July 23, 1925 in Perrysville, Ohio a son of the late Elic and Laura Sproull. He was a former coal miner and cement mixer driver for the former Luther's Builders Supply. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his wife, Betty Schaeffer Sproull in 2011; 2 sons: Raymond and Daniel Sproull , 2 granddaughters, 3 brothers and a sister. Surviving are three sons, Ed (Olivia) Sproull and Ralph (Pia) Sproull, all of Hopedale and Francis (Janice) Sproull of Scio; three daughters, Debbie Keiser of Springhill, FL, Nira (Larry) Kelley of Delaplane, VA and Elva (Bob) Fray of Amsterdam; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 16 from 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Dean Blythe officiating.
