Charlene Jenkins

Charlene Kay Jenkins, 65, of Cadiz, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Charlene retired from Trinity Health System. She was a member of Calvary Church in Steubenville, Ohio. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her family. She also enjoyed vacationing at the beach, sightseeing, and traveling in general. She was an avid gardener, with both a beautiful flower garden and vegetable garden. For all those that knew her, she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Charlene is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Jenkins, of 46 years, son Ronald (Azurede) Jenkins of Carrollton, Ohio, daughter Amy (Tom) Butler of New Athens, Ohio, daughter Amanda (Jeff) Howard of Hopedale, Ohio; grandchildren, Haley, Alexis (Korrs), Derek, and Hayden, and several great grandchildren; her 2 sisters, Donna (Ellis) Fulton, Mary Bizzarri, and her brothers, Ron (Rhonda) Boyer, Donnie Boyer, John (Jen) Boyer, Tim Boyer, and many other family members.

Charlene was preceded in death by her son Shawn Jenkins, her parents, Dormal and Ruby Boyer, sister Carol Ossman, brothers Terry Boyer, Dave Boyer, and Dan Boyer.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 1-3 and 5-8 at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz. The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Calvary Church, 255 North 5th Street, Steubenville, Ohio with Pastor John M. Kotsanos officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio.
