Carol Rogers

Carol J. Rogers, 68, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center, West in Steubenville. She was born October 17, 1944 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of Margaretta Dunlap Ferguson of Cadiz and the late Woodrow Wilson "Woody" Ferguson. Carol was a giving and fair mother, grandmother and friend who loved to cook for her family and friends and was honest to a fault. Carol was not just a hairstylist, but a friend to all her clients. She attended Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Rogers in 1994. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a son, Ryan (Terra) Rogers of Jewett; two daughters, Beth (Todd) Francis of Powell and Julie (Matthew) Nameth of Canton; eight grandchildren: Brittany, Kyle, Dylan, Jordan, Hanna, Maggie, Quinn and Addie; two brothers, David (Dottie) Ferguson of Scio and Larry (Debbie) Ferguson of Cadiz; a sister, Joyce (Tom) Bugala of St. Clairsville; and her companion, John Migliore of Cadiz. Friends may call Saturday, 2-4 and 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clint Marshall officiating.
