C. Carper, Sr.

C. Harold Carper, Sr., 73, of Cadiz, formerly of Miami, FL, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born February 11, 1937 in Birmingham, AL, a son of the late Thomas Eugene and Grace Cummings Carper. Mr. Carper was a retired HVAC Technician at the University of Miami, FL. He was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved antique cars and was an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy O'Neil Carper and a brother, Leslie Carper. Surviving are two daughters, Donna and her husband, Scott Pendleton of Cadiz and Rebecca and her husband, Jeremy Newton of Ft. Bragg, NC; a son Charles H., Jr. and his wife Bambi Carper of New Philadelphia; seven grandchildren and a brother, Jack and his wife, Noell Carper Seabring, FL.
