Butch Heavilin (Harry A.), 57, of the Atwood area was killed in a tractor accident on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 on his farm. He was the only son of Harry R. and Helen Poulson Heavilin of Cadiz, born on November 5, 1950. He was raised on the family farm where horses were his interest. He graduated from Cadiz High School in 1969, worked for a short time for Hanna Coal Company, and spent a winter skiing in Germany. Butch began his career as a salesman for Atwood Marina where he never knew a stranger. He was then a salesman for Kimble Mixer in New Philadelphia. Presently he was a salesman for the Kuester Implement Company of New Philadelphia and thought everyone should own a John Deere. Butch loved sailing a boat and had a passion for life. Butch is survived by his parents; his wife, Kimberly (Rennicker); three sisters, Debbie (Ed) Lee of New Philadelphia, Joyce (Gary) Brown of Cadiz, and Annette McCue of Cadiz; niece Ronda (Fred) Smith of Findlay and nephews Adam (Patti) Lee of Longmont, Colorado and Trevor McCue of Akron; a great-nephew Landon Smith and two great-nieces, Emma Smith and a baby girl to be born in January. There are numerous relatives in the area. Butch will be greatly missed by his dear friends and sadly missed by his best friends, Taz and Sadie, his Standard Poodles. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11 :00 a.m. Scott United Methodist Church, 817 E. Market St., Cadiz, Ohio. Rev. Richard Hasley and Rev. Jon Heavilin will officiate. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the MWCD Foundation, P.O. Box 349, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
