Billy O'Dell

Billy L. O'Dell, 68, Cadiz, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born January 22, 1938 in Richwood, West Virginia a son of the late H. McKinley and Gladys Hart O'Dell. Billy was a member of the Cadiz Church of the Nazerene and a former coal miner having worked for Consolidation Coal Company, Morgantown, West Virginia. He was an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam Era. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his first wife, Ruth Ann Berry O'Dell in 1984; and a sister, Roxanne Salisbury. He is survived by his wife Barbara Trouten O'Dell; 2 sons: Billy Dean O'Dell of Cadiz and Kevin Lane O'Dell of Piedmont; a daughter, Michelle Hunt and her husband Jay Ce of Jewett; 2 grandchildren: Christian J. Hunt and Isaiah Braden; 2 grandchildren expected; and a sister Betty Rader of Cadiz, Ohio. Calling hours are Monday, December 18, 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Cadiz Church of the Nazerene with Rev. Ernest Creamer officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
