Beverly Atkins

Beverly J. Atkins, 64, of Hopedale, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio. She was born June 18, 1937 in Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Franklin and Iva Beaver Thompson. She was a Protestant by faith and a member of the Hopedale Firemen's Auxillary and the Hopedale American Legion Auxillary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur (Art) Atkins in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Shera (Sis) Carothers (Dave) of Hopedale; 5 sons, James (Ed) Atkins (Korene Morelli) of Hopedale, William Atkins (Linda) of Cadiz, Kenneth Atkins (Carol) of Hopedale, Richard Atkins (Cindy) of Hopedale and Dana Atkins (Lisa) of Cadiz; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Sherlene Riechinback of Galveston, TX. Friends may call Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Chant Dunlap and Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio.
