Betty J. Keyser, 82, of Cadiz, died Friday, December 10, 2004 at the Harrison County Home. She was born December 10, 1922 in Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank and Martha Bernice Ramsey Porter. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Ridge Presbyterian Church, where she was active with the Missionary Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Keyser in 1983. Surviving are a son, James and his wife, Myrna Keyser of Cadiz; two daughters, Nancy and her husband, Thomas Dowdle of Maryville, TN, and Sandra and her husband, Kenneth Caldwell of Midland, MI; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Maxine Snode and Marian Dennis, both of Cadiz, Janice and her husband, Luke Yeager of New Philadelphia, OH, and Kay and her husband, Charles Singer of Louisville, OH. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jack Visser officiating. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrison County Home, 41500 Cadiz-Dennison Rd., Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
