Betty Brown

Betty June Brown, 75, of Baltic, Ohio formerly of Cadiz, died Tuesday at Baltic Country Manor. She was born June 15, 1926 in Uhrichsville, Ohio a daughter of the late Victor and Martha Hicks Hite. She was member of the Scott United Methodist Church and the former store manager for the Odd Lots Store, Steubenville, Ohio. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Wilford Wesley Brown; a son Donnie Brown; and a brother, Victor Hite. She is survived by 3 sons: Dean of Clyde, Dennis of Scio, and Danny of Cadiz; 10 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; 2 brothers: David Hite of Nebraska and Jimmy Hite of Canton; 3 Sisters: Verna Miller of Old Washington, Lucille Slevitz of Carrollton, and Joanne Troyer of Wooster. Calling hours are Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Hooker officiating. Burial follows at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
