Beth Davenport

Beth Davenport, 63, of Hopedale, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio after a short illness. 

She was born May 12, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of the late William “Bill” Jones and her beloved mother and best friend Nancy C. Jones.

Beth worked at the former R&F Coal Company in Cadiz for 14 years and the Village of Hopedale for 15 years in which she left to help run the family business, Nancy C. Jones Appraisals along side her mother. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her eldest brother Richard “Rick” Jones. 

Her proudest achievements were being married to long time sweetheart and husband for over 40 years as well as raising her three amazing sons, who she would talk about whether you asked her to or not. 

She is survived by her husband, Roger Davenport of Hopedale, Ohio, Sons Justin Davenport of Charleston, SC, Ryan Davenport of Charleston, SC and Jared Davenport of Hopedale, OH, her brother William “Randy” Jones (Cheryl) of Columbus, Ohio as well as all those who loved and cherished her throughout her years on earth. 

Per her request, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
