Beatrice Kerwood

Beatrice Kerwood, 86, of Jewett, died Friday at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born September 3, 1923 in Hopedale, a daughter of the late Samuel and Emma Marie Mathews Raber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Kerwood, Sr., her companion, John Cothran; two sons, Ross and John (J.B.) Kerwood and two brothers, Harold and Samuel Raber. Surviving are three sons, Samuel Kerwood of Scio, Craig Kerwood of Cadiz and Jerry (Shelly) Kerwood of Jewett; four daughters, Beatrice Lewis of Buchannon, WV, Dorothy Kerwood of Jewett, Sara Goodrich of Cadiz and Diane (Bob) Hilbert of Scio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Vivian McCoy of New Rumley and Irene Christy of Hopedale. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Rev. Samuel Betts will officiate.
