Barbara L. Pincola, of Cadiz, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Harrison Community Hospital.
Born June 8, 1951, Barbara was the middle child of the late F. Patricia Inskeep and the late Arnold C. Perry. She is survived by an older sister, Sue, and a younger brother, Russell.
Barbara was a long-time employee of the Engineering Division of AEP in Columbus, Ohio. She returned to Cadiz after her marriage to C. Adrian Pincola, Esq. in 1998.
She was a graduate of Ohio Dominican University. She later earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Barbara was involved in the local community as the past Medical Records Director of Harrison Community Hospital, past director of the Cadiz/Harrison County Visitor’s Center, she had been an elected Supervisor for the Harrison County Soil and Water Conservation District and was elected as a Harrison County Commissioner in 2008. She also served as an Instructor for Belmont College, and as an Instructor for the American Red Cross, going to New Orleans as a relief worker after Hurricane Katrina. She stayed on the Regional Planning Commission for many years after leaving office.
At the time of her passing, Barbara had been a fourteen-year cancer survivor. She fought as hard as she could, for as long as she could.
Per her request, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
