Arvella Delloma

Arvella Delloma, 72, of Jewett, died Friday, June 6, 2008 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born March 8, 1936 in Jewett, a daughter of the late Forrest Perry Hoobler and Eva Dorothy Snyder Hoobler Joseph. She was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church, and the retired Secretary of the WIC Program at Harrison Community Hospital. She enjoyed quilting and baking and especially her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis ''Bucky'' Maffitt; stepfather, Stanley Joseph; a brother, Raymond Hoobler; and a son-in-law, Jim Barcus. Surviving are her husband, Raymond Delloma; four daughters, Suzanne (Remigio) Rubiano of Pittsburgh, Patricia (Frank) Sabo of Hopedale, Lou Ann (''Butch'') Dyer of Jewett and Denise (Allen) Luther of Pickerington; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; a brother Reuben (Jean) Hoobler of Jewett; and three sisters, Loraine (Gordon) Liggett of Jewett, Diana (Ron) Baker of Amsterdam and Sharon Tucker of Bridgeport. Friends may call Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz and again Monday from noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, State Route 151, East, Jewett, Ohio with Rev. Rodney Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery near Hopedale.
