Arnold Merryman

Arnold ''Lou'' Merryman, 64, Cadiz, died Saturday, February 1, at his home after a 12 year battle with cancer. He was born December 5, 1938 in Cadiz, a son of the late Leonard and Enid Patterson Merryman. Lou was a member of Flushing Masonic Lodge and a retired self employed truck driver and former owner/operator of the Bullseye Lounge near Cadiz. He was a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by an infant sister. Surving are his loving wife Renee Hutton Merryman; 3 sons: Leonard and David Merryman both of Cadiz, and Danny of Richfield, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Ellen Orr and Shirley Rogers both of Cadiz; a brother Allen Merryman of Hopedale; a devoted brother in law Leslie Orr of Cadiz; and 2 stepdaughters: Brandi Graham and Paula Laporte both of Cadiz. Calling hours are Monday, February 3, 3-5 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., with John Monasmith officiating. Burial follows at Hines Cemetery, Cadiz.
