Archie W. Morris, Jr.

Archie William Morris, Jr., 83, of Wintersville, passed away at Weirton Medical Center on Monday, March 31, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born October 1. 1941 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Archie William and Myrtle Irean Bennington Morris, Sr.

Archie was a member of the East Warren Street Church of Christ in Cadiz.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, June Hopkins Morris; 3 children: John (Kimberly) Morris of Chester, West Virginia, Sheila Mitchell of Kentucky and Debbie Burns of Wintersville; 8 grandchildren: Robert Mitchell, Anthony Morris, Tiffany Arnold, Patrick Morris, Jordon Morris, Ashton Morris, Ricky Burns and Gracie Burns; 7 great grandchildren with one on the way; and a sister, Sheila Chichitk of Wintersville, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at the East Warren Street Church of Christ, 137 East Warren Street, Cadiz from 12:00 p.m. until time of his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Evang. Tom Arnold and Evang. William Montgomery officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral, Cadiz, Ohio.
