Anna Mae Luther

Anna Mae Luther, 88, of Cadiz, Ohio passed away on November 11, 2024, at the Harrison County Home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 3, 1936, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late William Abraham and Beryl Pyle. 

Anna Mae was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker for most of her life, and loved cooking for her friends and family—especially making them hamburgers, sloppy joes and chili. She was an avid fan of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. 

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, William P. Luther, Jr.; a son, Steven Michael “Stevie” Luther; and several brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by her 3 sons, William P. (Brenda) Luther III, of Cadiz, Tony Luther of Cadiz and Allen (Denise) Luther of Pickerington; grandchildren: William (Shelby) Luther IV, Jessica (Angel) Boned, Jacob Luther, Jeannie Luther, Allison Luther and Grace Luther; great-grandchildren, Addison, William V, and Avery Luther and Zechariah Thomas Boned; and 2 sisters. 

Per her wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Home, 41500 Cadiz-Dennison Road, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
