Allen Davis

Allen Davis, 53, of Cadiz, died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville. He was born February 3, 1950 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Gloria Hendershot Davis Browning and the late Ernie Davis.. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz; Harrison Lodge 219, F. Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville; and a former member of the Cadiz Jaycees. He was an Electrician at Timet Corp. in Toronto, Ohio. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Jean Henderson Davis in 2000; step-father, Richard Browning; and grandmother, Alma Hendershot. Surviving, in addition to his mother, a resident of Selma, AL, are two daughters, Andrea Dale Davis of Zanesville, Ohio and Allison Nicole (Nikki) Davis of Cadiz; 2 sisters, Penny and Candy; and his parents-in-law, William and Virginia Henderson of Cadiz. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, 154 W. Market St., Cadiz, with Rev. William Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, 154 W.
