Alice Nichols

Alice I. Nichols, 68, of Cadiz, formerly of New Carlisle, Ohio, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her home. She was born February 27, 1942 in Freeport, Ohio a daughter of the late Carl Lynn and Virginia Murphy Lynn. She was a customer service representative at the Air Force Exchange at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, a member of the Red Hatters in New Athens and Baptist by faith. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Nichols; a daughter, Shari Ranae Nichols Davis and her husband Wesley of Troy, Ohio; a son, Matthew Wayne Nichols and his wife Laura of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 5 grandchildren: Tyler, Brent, and Austin Nichols and Amanda Rose and Hope Allison Davis; a sister, Mary McKinney of Lorain, Ohio; and a brother, Paul E. Lynn of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Saturday, December 18, 4-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the ALS Northern Ohio Chapter, 2500 East 22nd Street, Suite 102, Cleveland, Ohio 44115, in her name.
