Adrian Worrell, 88 of Cadiz, died Friday, March 29, 2013 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born June 8, 1924 in Barton, Ohio a son of the late Elzy and Susie Eberhart Worrell. He was a member of the Minksville Church of Christ and was a retired bus driver for Harrison Hills City School District . He was a veteran having served in the Army during World War II. He was referred to as a gentle giant and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by his wife Mildred I. Harris Worrell; 2 sons: Jack and Robert Worrell; 3 grandchildren: Scott Smith, Millie and Wendy Worrell; 2 brothers: Wallace and Charles Worrell and a sister Catherine. He is survived by his son Ross (Carolynn) Worrell of Freeport; a daughter, Patricia Smith of Canton; a daughter-in-law, Aggie Worrell of Cadiz; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 4 sisters: Virginia of Dayton, Erma of New York, Nancy of Illinois and Donna of Tennessee. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 1 from 4-7 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Evang. Robert Main officiating. Burial will follow at Minksville Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial contributions to the Carriage Inn of Cadiz Activity Fund, 308 West Warren Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
