Ada Vanfossen

Ada C. VanFossen, 83, of Cadiz, died Friday, May 17, 2002 at her home. She was born October 15, 1918 in Belmont County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Dewitt J. Todd and the late Dora Murphy Todd Luyster. She was a former Volunteer at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel ''Ben'' VanFossen in 1993 and her stepfather, Edwin Luyster. Surviving are her son, Howard and his wife, Lyndall VanFossen of Smyrna; 2 grandchildren, Dan and his wife, Sarah of Piedmont, and Robin and her husband, Ken Helvey of Crane, MO; 2 great grandchildren, Samantha VanFossen and Kenneth Helvey; 3 brothers, Gail Luyster of Uniontown, OH, Ray Luyster of New Philadelphia, and Paul Luyster of Barnesville. Friends may call Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
